Hello my name is Ali and welcome to Less Simple Carbs recipe blog.
For the past 10 years I have cooked meals that are reduced sugars, reduced white flours and added whole grains, whole wheat, alternative natural sweeteners with lower glycemic index compared to sugar, etc.
It is very valuable to prepare your own meals because you get to control the amounts of spices and sweets and other ingredients to put in your food. Home cooked meals are healthier than eating out. I am excited to share my recipes with my experience of the past 10 years using better ingredients.
Back in 2010 I started to explore more about food and learned the difference between simple carbs and complex carbs. Simple carbs are ingredients such as sugar, white flour, etc. Complex carbs are whole grains, whole wheat, peas, beans and vegetables.
Since then I have cooked with more of complex carbs and reduced my simple carbs. As of 2016 I started to share recipes and enjoy doing so.
