Beef Turkey patties (kotleti) family recipe. Growing up I remember eating this on several occasions with either rice or potatoes and even packing it for lunch to school. The process for forming the balls can be used with an ice cream scooper or spoon, however, I find the ice cream scooper is easier to use.
Ingredients:
1 large onion (or half red and half white onion)
1 cup of milk
1 toast of bread
1 pound of turkey
1 pounds of beef
1 TSP Vegeta
Salt
Black pepper
2 eggs
Oil to brown/sauté
1½ cups of flour

Soak the bread in milk.
In a separate mixing bowl combine 1 pound of turkey, 1 pound of beef, 1 teaspoon of Vegeta, diced onion, salt, black pepper, and 2 eggs, except the bread, and mix well under 1 or 2 speed.
Then add the bread and discard the remaining milk.
Mix it in the bowl again at the same speed till mixed well.
Prepare two 9 X 13-inch baking sheets, one for assembling the raw meatballs and the other one for adding browned meatballs to bake.
Form them into balls with an ice cream scooper or spoon and dip the bottom with flour before putting it on one of the baking sheets to avoid meat residue to be left on the baking sheet.
Turn on the stove with a frying pan, warm up the pan and add the oil for it to be about a half inch tall.
When the oil is almost hot, assemble the balls in the frying pan and cook it until it turns brown.
Flip it and brown the other side. When both sides are browned, put the patties on the second baking sheet to bake.
Repeat the process between forming and browning.
When almost done with browning all the patties. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Put the baking sheet of patties in the center of the oven rack and bake for about 20-25 minutes until well done.
Serve with potatoes, rice or bread and enjoy!
