Easy Pizza Sauce

This Pizza Sauce is so easy to make. Put all the ingredients together and simmer for about 15 minutes and done.

I love making pizzas for super bowls, pot lucks, or any other get together occasions, like birthdays and baby showers.

Easy Pizza Sauce

Ingredients:

14 ounce tomato sauce

Salt 

Black pepper, freshly ground

1/2 TSP dried oregano

1 TSP lemon juice

1 TBSP virgin olive oil

1 garlic clove, grated

How to make Easy Pizza Sauce:

In a medium pot, add tomato sauce and all ingredients except for the garlic. Cover the pot and turn the stove on to medium or medium high and stand by, when it bubbles go down to medium low and let simmer for about 10 to 15 minutes. Be careful that it doesn’t splatter, keep the lid partially covered when adding more.

Be careful that it doesn’t splatter. Then add grated garlic and simmer for another 5 minutes. 

Afterwards, turn off the stove and let it stand for 5 minutes. The sauce will thicken.

Notes:

Cook/bake time may change when changing ingredients portions.

To store, wipe a clean glass can with vinegar and paper towel, add the pizza sauce to the glass can, cover, and it should keep in the fridge for about 7 days.
