promotes healthy bacteria in your gut, lowers blood sugar levels, helps you to feel full to manage your weight, eases constipation, relieves skin itching and irritation, lowers your chance of colon cancer.
Granola is great with yogurt or even just a snack. Homemade granola will always be better.

Ingredients:

1 cup regular rolled oats
1/2 cup coarsely chopped sliced almonds, chopped walnuts or chopped pecans
1/4 cup coconut flakes (optional)
1/4 cup shelled sunflower seeds
1/4 cup honey
1 tablespoon cooking oil
1/2 cup sugar free dried fruit (cherries, snipped pitted dates, raisins or cranberries) (optional)

How to make Easy Granola Recipe:

Grease a 7 by 8 1/2 inch or 8 by 8 inch baking pan or use parchment paper to line the baking dish; set aside. In a bowl combine regular rolled oats, nuts, coconut if desired, sunflower seeds.
In a separate bowl combine honey and oil; stir into oat mixture. Spread evenly in the prepared pan. Bake in a 300 degree F oven for 30 to 35 minutes or until light brown, stirring after 20 minutes. If desired, mix in dried fruit.

Spread on a large piece of foil to cool, or if using parchment paper, take it out, put on a wide pan and spread out the granola and let it cool before use.

Storage instructions:
Store in an airtight container for up to 1 week. Or store in freezer bags and freeze for up to 2 months.

Cook/bake time may change when changing ingredients portions.
