A delicious and simple roasted chicken that will please a crowd.


  • 2 whole chickens (about 9 LBS total)
  • Salt
  • Ground black Pepper
  • 2 garlic heads, peeled
  • ¼ cup mayonnaise


  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Wash the chickens and pat dry and place it on a baking sheet.
  2. Rub salt and pepper on it. Puncture with a knife to make several holes on the chickens, about 1 inch apart from each other.
  3. Insert garlic clove in the holes (cut a garlic clove in half if needed to be able to fit in the hole or make the hole bigger).
  4. Then rub mayonnaise all over the chicken. Seal with foil and bake at 350 degrees 20 minutes per pound, then an additional 10 minutes. The internal part of the chicken should register at 165 ℉ (75 ℃) when done cooking and juices should run clear when pierced. Enjoy this with rice, potatoes or pasta.
